16 TPH Thermax Shellmax boiler installation

OVERVIEW

Installation of a 16 tonnes-per-hour Thermax Shellmax boiler, with a 20 metre conical chimney, deaerator, steam header modification and the complete HSD and furnace oil piping system.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Fabrication and installation of conical chimney (top ID 900 mm × 20 m)
• Fabrication and installation of flue gas duct (top ID 980 mm × 9 m)
• Installation of 16 TPH boiler
• Installation of deaerator
• Modification of steam header
• Piping fabrication and connection: boiler to steam header, safety valves, air vents, deaerator to feed water pump, steam header to PRV station and blowdown
• HSD system piping: diesel tank to HSD header, header vent and drain, pump connections, spillover and burner supply and return
• Furnace oil system piping: FO tank to ring main, ring main to digester, digester to degasser pump station, preheater to burner and return to FO tank
• Insulation and cladding of deaerator, steam header and steam piping
