10.5 TPH waste heat recovery boiler and balance of plant

OVERVIEW

Fabrication and erection of the balance of plant for a 10.5 tonnes-per-hour waste heat recovery boiler, including a 30 metre chimney, flue gas ducting, blowdown tank, access platforms, insulation and the complete piping system.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Fabrication, supply and erection of chimney (Ø1100 mm × 30 m) with supports and accessories
• Fabrication and installation of Ø1000 mm flue gas ducting with supports and stiffeners
• Fabrication and erection of 1 KL blowdown tank
• Fabrication and erection of mounting structures for the deaerator tank
• Fabrication and installation of access platforms for the economiser header, with handrails and ladders
• Supply and installation of insulation and aluminium or GI cladding for blowdown tank, economiser, deaerator storage tank and deaerator head
• Fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning of feed water, blowdown, safety valve exhaust, drain, spill back, air vent, instrument drain and overflow lines, steam header and steam pipeline
• Fabrication, erection and painting of structural supports for chimney, ducting, tanks and pipelines
• Surface preparation, primer and finish painting of all fabricated steel
