Boiler decommissioning and reinstallation

OVERVIEW

Decommissioning of a complete boiler installation, relocation to a new site, and reinstallation with all accessories, piping, chimney, insulation and hydrotesting.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Decommissioning of boiler and all accessories: instrumentation, burner and blower, flue duct, economiser, chimney, probes and sensors, pumps and all boiler piping
• Removal and replacement of insulation and aluminium cladding on steam piping and flue gas ducting
• Hydrotesting of boiler piping before dismantling and of steam piping after reinstallation
• Moving of boiler and accessories to the new location
• Positioning and reinstallation of boiler, burners and blowers, feed water pumps, economiser, chimney and all piping components
• Reconnection of flue gas duct, steam pipelines, feed water pumps and economiser piping at the new location
• Erection of exhaust chimney, flue gas ducting, boiler steam piping, and piping and duct supports
• Insulation and aluminium cladding for steam piping and ducting within the boiler house
• Painting of chimney at the new location
